Terms of Service

Last updated May 28, 2026

Placeholder terms for review by counsel — not legal advice. Replace before launch.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Kurepay platform and related services (the “Services”) provided by Kurepay, Inc. (“Kurepay”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Accounts & eligibility

You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for activity under your account and for safeguarding your credentials. You must have authority to bind the business you represent.

3. Use of the Services

You agree to use the Services only for lawful business purposes, including:

  • Issuing invoices and accepting payments from your own clients.
  • Operating first-party collections on amounts genuinely owed to you.
  • Complying with applicable payments, consumer-protection, and communications laws.

4. Payments & processing

Card and bank processing is performed by third-party processors under your own processor credentials. You are responsible for the accuracy of charges, refunds, fees, and any surcharge or convenience-fee program you enable, including its legality in your jurisdiction.

5. Communications & compliance

You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining consent for the email and SMS messages sent through the Services and for honoring opt-outs. The Services provide tools (consent records, quiet hours, throttling) to assist, but do not constitute legal compliance on your behalf.

6. Fees

Platform fees and processing rates are set out in your order or plan. Fees are due as described there; processing costs are passed through at the processor’s rates.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use the Services to violate law, infringe rights, transmit malicious code, or attempt to access data belonging to other businesses on the platform.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The Services are provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kurepay disclaims implied warranties and limits liability as set out in your order. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate as described in your order. On termination you may export your data for a reasonable period, after which we may delete it per our retention policy.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be communicated. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
